EarlyBird, there are civil servants that work for the National Guard that is paid with federal appropriated dollars, just like the civil servants on the base. I didn't know there were over 600 of them across ND though. I thought there was only 11 at the Minot Branch.

I thought the State funded the States National Guard or is there a Federal National Guard? I sure appreciate your service National Guard soldiers. We will just have to hope Mother Nature is nicer to us than the Washington DC bunch.
