With all the other "real crimes" going on in minrot, one would think the cops would have something better to do, what a major waste of tax payers money and man hours...

I am surprised they didn't double sting each other and have cop on cop love.

From the comments one wonders if someone got caught in a sting with METH and/or MARIJUANA, or from the spelling of Minot should maybe just move.

okay, you little snarly boys, what do YOU consider real crime? If the police had NOT arrested them, would you be cheering them>? Or were you a couple of those arrested? Police are there to uphold the laws on the books. That is what they were doing. I am sure the hotels were very thankful for that.

This is just the tip of the iceberg from the word on the street...what would one expect from a city with more hotel rooms than apartments?

After reading the comments by Ismartman and Earlybird it's no wonder that our great state is in decline!!

Rancher7 I agree with you, nobody has a sense of humor any more, just a bunch of cry babies. Lighten up, I was referencing an episode of South Park. People who disagree with what they know nothing of are quite special too I think. lol!!!

Delvis has a rap sheet a mile long 3/29/00, 6/10/02, 10/8/04,1/15/05..and now another one here in Minot.

Kohlman is from Minot as is Davis altho Davis came here recently from Texas.

Osterholf is from SD.

Google works wonders if you want to look these folks up.

And yes thanks to the cops for attempting to keep this under control.

Latisha Shonta Andrews, 26, of the 7300 block of Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento, Calif., was arrested at 8:48 p.m. in the 1800 block of Centre Pointe Drive. She was charged with prostitution and possession of cannabis. Seems she just picked up and moved her business to Minot.

"An under cover prostitution sting", just those words themselves crack me up! I would not want to be the police person who was under the covers doing the stinging.

Then get busy to change that oh-so-unenlightened law, that of prostitution being illegal.

Legislature's in session. Toodle-oo.

These guys can go to Vegas and solicite prostitution legally. So this is something to be worried about? My heart goes out to these men and women for their exposure. I do not judge, and if you people go to every Sunday morning church, you shouldn't either.

It's gettin' so you can't open up a business around these parts without gettin' hassled by the po-lice.

The State of North Dakota is prostituting itself to the oil companies. How come it can legally do that? Somebody call the cops.

The oldest profession shows up in Minot ... big surprise. Las Vegas is located in Clark County. Prostitution is illegal in that county (and 3 others). Right across the county lines are where you'll find the "regulated" brothels.

I feel discomfort as I look at the "disagrees" on this post. People! We are dealing with a non violent crime between to corresponding adults as if it were violent. The only reason you have any knowledge for this is because of the public press, your tax dollars, and the wasted time of how ever many law enforcement officials it took to perform this sting. The exercise performed here makes Minot no better or worse then it was before. Regardless of the arrests made and the public knowing of the prostitution going on here, there will be no remorse to stopping it. It should almost be embraced as it keeps some sain and those away from your family and children. It is an event that is held between two corresponding adults. There is bigger crime to worry about in this city nowadays, and if you are going to feel comfort by reading an article like this then I feel ashamed for you. Worry about the real crime, not something as foolish as this. My heart goes out the those faced with this
