Good point Jack. I personally don't understand why we allow anyone to drink hard liquor. Beer or wine drinking may be social if done in moderation. But I don't understand why anyone would need to drink something that is stronger than maybe 10 percent alcohol by volume.

I just wish my Democrat Party, including this Dr., would come together in just banning the sale of all tobacco products...TOTAL BAN statewide.
Look how many lives we could save. Even if we could only save ONE life, it would be worth it.
I will be working with the Dr. to implement a total ban on another scourge to society after we get the tobacco ban. That being alcohol. Again, if we could save even ONE life....
For the children...

The good doctor has his numbers wrong. According the nd gov website, it passed by 71.4%, but that's not 71.4% of North Dakotans, it's 71.4% of the 41.2% of the population that bothered to vote. Yep I know that numbers (41.2%) maybe slightly off, not accounting for person 17 and under ... but my drift is ... it's not 71.4% of the total population.

It’s a democratically passed law and applies to everybody. Don’t like it? Move to Mexico.

"Respect our vote the same way we respect your election." I will bet my very last dollar on the fact that the ONLY ones who voted for those stinkin' signs were the writers of the measure. And, requiring them on UNMARKED vehicles for those working undercover was just one of many of the unintended consequences. That needs to be corrected. But, like Muleskinner, I believe the good ol' doc cna print them and put them up himself. Also, I think that the Tobacco Guru's should pay for all of the stickers for everyone in need. they did, after all, require them. I wonder if they can be sued when a person is hit while standing in the middle of Main street while smokin'?

Take the matter into your own hands, have some signs made that say 'smoke free' and distribute them to businesses who are required to post them.
If it is so important to you, you can do it. Do your part and stop complaining about what others haven't done.
Who cares if somebody smokes tobacco?
If they want to have some tobacco, they can.
