"The agency's biggest problem - and the majority of the red ink in 2012 - was not due to reduced mail flow but rather to mounting mandatory costs for future retiree health benefits, which made up $11.1 billion of the losses. Without that and other related labor expenses, the mail agency sustained an operating loss of $2.4 billion, lower than the previous year." That will teach them to model their retirement program after the government's. What buffoons!!

They need to start actually delivering Monday through Friday 1st. The VA from Fargo sends the vets their meds via USPS. My husbands medication should have been here yesterday and has yet to show up. They don't pick up out going mail from my box. Packages that are marked as 'Out for delivery' never show up and by 9 pm are marked as 'Status not updated'. I know it's not the mail carriers personally but cutting Saturdays here in Minot is not going to fix the problem.

the VA pills are not as you think. what the VA dont tell you is they first send them thru fed ex then they are dropped at the post office in minot to be sorted and delivered. they are dropped in the a.m. hours and then sorted for the next day. contact the va and have them send it direct with the post office. makes more sense to me. signed from a fed up postal worker. get involved be informed.
