There is no reason to give the media anything but a name and State of residence anyway. I think information that is made public can sway jurors opinions and make people appear guilty before they are ever even in court.

Disclosure of the names of the individuals involved are necessary. Especially in cases involving DUI's shows a pattern of habitual drunk drivers.
