January 27, 2013

Ron Carlson, Bismarck What should Phil Mickelson pay in taxes? Lefty got in trouble with the liberal press by stating he was going to have to move out of California cause he was paying 62 percent....

All I know is the snow removal is definately better now that naws has turned into snowremoval, city sales tax has turned into snow removal, and property taxes are through the roof.

I am certain of 2 things: 1. taxes and 2. government employees on tax payers backs and brainwashed robots will say city budget is over.

I havent seen a snowplow in front of my house in weeks. Cant we cleanup the curbs would that be so hard, seriously how hard is it to run a bobcat with a blade against a curb and push snow in boulevards!

lorexxx I was in junior high when the Vietnam war was going on! I don't do weed! I have rode horses, worked on a small farm growing up, shot rifles, but I grew up, and moved on, it is no longer like it was in the 1950's or the 1960's.

lorexxx Why do you fear President Obama so much then? If he isn't man enough for you? Why GW such a man? He was a cheerleader at Yale. His daddy got him a safe national guard post here in the states to avoid going to Vietnam. What did GW do to give him man status?

lorexxx I think the standards were lowered pretty low in 2000 when GW was appointed the President! He will be awful tough to beat! ;-) Even Pres. Ford looks Presidential compaired to GW! :-)

Problem is we will never get the tax code simplified because if everyone could do their taxes it would put all these tax preparers out of business. Most of the politicians in DC are lawyers and they certainly do not anyone to understand what they are doing in DC!

Thanks for your thanks.

If you must know, cleaning up after others isn't my strong suit, but I think you might have the talent for it. Or at least the desire.

Dissent away, BGGTD, and have a great evening!

"loco....I think hate is the most over-used tactic used in America today....Can we all come together and agree on that?"

Agreed, Veritas. Used by lefties, righties, and in-betweenies.

"You have the brass to admonish me but lorexxx gets kudos from you?

Stuff it!"

Did I give kudos to lorexxx?

Uh, no.

It seems to me no one takes the emotional lefties to task here. As far as taking emotional righties to task, I think that's already been covered, by BG et al. And with the kindest regards, etc.

Have a better day, BGGTRUOP

WA - the simplification of the tax system will never be allowed by our Democrat Party, and I feel you know that. It will not happen because there will be no gifts....for votes.

We all can come together to agree on that...

How much tax is enough? Obviously varies with the needs of our Government. Got War, Got Drought, natural disaster, financial crisis etc.

Taxes are in a huge way over complicated. City, County, state, federal, sales etc. should be reduced to two. Federal, and State. Or how about sales and investment profits only tax. VAT divided by State and Federal. One collection with a percentage to each.

We need a new system and less complicated is the best way to stay transparent. Complicated serves individual or corporate schemers who battle with lawyers, lobbyists and lots of money.

BG, the comment I originally referenced as "out of line" was bumped and had to do with the President's daughters in the White House. Remember?

President Obama was duly elected. He and his family are residents of the White House, because that's where the US President lives.

No more. No less. Or else what I said before was true + two more words.

BillyG's """JackAaah, as I said before...You won't like the Democratic party....WE PAY OUR BILLS..... """

Much to your and my chagrin, there were lots of our President Omama nominees, when he was first elected, that did NOT pay their tax bills....

But I am so happy and forword looking, so appreciative that you DO pay your bills.....so that I can get my gifts...for votes.

I do so love the Democrat Party...

raj, you speak from both sides of your mouth. You write, "those cars on the "free-rider" train are going to be filled with people finally paying for their health insurance." and then you write, " Is there some justification in your mind to deny health care to people who have no earthly way to afford health ins.? "

I was simply pointing out that everyone is NOT paying for their own insurance, nor will they ever. And the number of those not paying for their insurance is INCREASING, not decreasing.
