and now i suppose we'll need another 1% "temporary" tax to buy parking space for a select few or the sky will fall in. How about raising property taxes for more 'revenue'? oops......already did that the last few years...

Sooooooo your ok with your house doubling or tripling in value in a very short amount of time and reaping the rewards of that, but not ok with paying nearly the same tax rate, which on a higher value equates to more money, to fund those very things that are increasing the value of your property so much?

However they do it I would hope it is done in such a way that it becomes permanent parking for the public.
