Maybe it is difficult to comprehend, but then again, it's not. Thieves have moved into the area because it is easy pickings, nothing else. It doesn't matter to them what it is or where it is. For some, they think crime pays.
It is done for monetary gain; they have no conscience. It doesn't matter to them if what they do is wrong, they still do it anyway because they can and so they will.
Like the words of the song that is sung over and over again, "I swear there ain't no heaven and I pray there ain't no ehch eeee double hockey sticks."
Blood, Sweat and Tears wrote it and sang it.
Well, that is what it takes in this world to get by, some do it right, others do it wrong.
At some point in time for them, there will be a required payback. That's when they'll learn that they shouldn't have done what they did.
By then, it'll be too late.

Stealing is for monetary gain. What is behind vandalizing grave sites? That is a sad sick soul. I am not justifying stealing for those of you who think that may be.

Was that aimed at me? I'm more of a libertarian, which means I'm hated for one reason or another by both sides.
As for sense of humor, it's there, just very dry and very sarcastic. So much so apparently that the humor was missed. Sorry.
