RUGBY – Life changed for James and Rita Teigen of Rugby more than five years ago when All Seasons Water Users District completed a project that brought good quality water to their rural residence.
James Teigen said they still remember the day they turned on the tap and ran the system’s water for the first time.
“The reason we remember that day is it happened to be my wife’s birthday,” he said. “They turned on the water at 11 o’clock in the morning. At dinner time at noon we had good drinking water fresh out of the tap. That was a red letter day. My wife still says it’s the best birthday present she ever got.
