Hjerdal Lutheran Church of Voltaire's 100th Anniversary Celebration: Continues today at the church. Activities will include worship at 10 a.m., followed by a dinner and an anniversary program at 1:30 p.m., with cake and coffee.

Soup kitchen: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Seventh-day Adventist Church, 10-17th Ave. SW.

Interpretive programs: Idaho historian and scholar John Fisher will offer interpretive programs at 1 and 3 p.m. in Headwaters Fort Mandan Visitor Center, west of the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center at Washburn. The programs will cover the medicine and medical treatments of the Lewis & Clark Expedition as well as the trading process and types of trade goods used. The programs are included in the regular admission cost.

Elks Camp Grassick, the North Dakota Elks summer camp for children and adults with disabilities and special needs, will hold its annual Camp Grassick Day: noon, five miles south of Dawson. There will be a free barbecue and entertainment, and people may visit with the campers. Call 327-4251 for more information.

Eagle Court of Honor ceremony for William Bryan, Bowbells, who is a member of Minot Boy Scout Troop 416: 2 p.m., Bowbells United Methodist Church. The ceremony is open to the public and will be followed by a reception in the Bowbells City Park. Eagle Scout is the highest rank in scouting. Bryan's Eagle Service Project involved planning, organizing, recruiting and directing 66 volunteers to restore and improve the playground and picnic areas in the Bowbells City Park. He will be a senior at Bowbells High School this fall.

Poetry Circle: 3 p.m., Carnegie Center.

Public ice and roller skating: 3 to 6 p.m., Maysa Arena.

The Minot Area Council of the Arts' summer concert series, "Arts in the Parks," presents The Dance Company and Jessica Sanders: 4 and 7 p.m., Oak Park.

The Bottineau Community Theatre will present the comedy "Let's Murder Marsha": 7:30 p.m., Davis Playhouse, Bottineau. Dessert is included. Reservations are needed and can be made by calling 228-2478. Tickets are $10 each.
