United Blood Services of Minot and City of Minot Blood Drive: 8:30 a.m. to noon, the Bloodmobile will be in the Minot Public Works parking lot. Call Ross Rubbelke at 833-7606 or 857-5106 for an appointment.
Ice hockey and roller skating: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Maysa Arena.
Soup kitchen: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Immanuel Baptist Church, 1615-2nd St. SE.
Spiritual Life Church has its clothes closet open every Wednesday: Between noon and 4 p.m., 400 N. Main St., two blocks east of Sammy's Pizza. Clothing is free to those who need. The church also accepts clothing donations during those hours.
Members of the Sakakawea Chapter of the Good Sam RV Club are meeting: Today at Mouse River Park north of Tolley. Members will camp and make favors for the Samboree.

Faith United Methodist Church's food and clothing pantry is open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 801 W. University Ave.
Soup kitchen: 5 to 6:30 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 1000-3rd St. NE.
Summerfest: 6 p.m., Grand International Inn, Minot. The event will include performances by several area bands including Stay Out Late, Diabolic Octopus, The Earth and Everything In It, Galaxies, Merick/Apparatus and Carly Ann. The cost is $6 per person.
Souris Valley Dancers potluck dinner and square dance: Potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m., dance at 7:30 p.m., Swenson's RV Park, Minot. Callers will be Fred Brooks, Mel Diers and Don Siebert.
Country Christian group High Valley will present a concert: 8 p.m., Virgil Syverson Performance Center, Harmon Park, Williston. The Canadian trio has opened shows for Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes and Reba McEntire. People should bring a lawn chair. Pizza and refreshments will be available. A freewill offering will be accepted as admittance.
YOUTH EVENTS
Totally Preschool, a story time for independent children ages 3-6: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m., through Aug. 5, Minot Public Library Imagination Station.
