The First District Health Unit's eight-week series of Freedom from Tobacco classes meets Thursdays through May 1 at 6:30 p.m. The unit will start its next eight-week series of Freedom from Tobacco classes Sept. 25. This program provides information on how to quit smoking or chewing products and how to stay off them in the future. The Freedom From Tobacco program is a free service provided by the First District Health Unit. Prescription assistance may be available for some cessation medications. For information, call 852-1376.
