Extension Service: Caring for Your Home and Yard
April 16, 2008
This spring the NDSU Extension Service in Ward County is offering a series of educational programs titled "Caring for Your Home and Yard.' The sessions are designed for new homeowners, young couples and people wanting more information about their home and yard.
A well-cared for home and yard will add value and equity to the long-term investment of a home. But, more importantly, it will provide a comfortable and safe environment for the family.
The series will include five programs that the homeowners can pick and choose from. Homeowners can attend all the classes or choose only those sessions that they are interested in attending.
Two sessions will be on home care and three sessions on yard care. The yard care programs will be duplicated. They will be held April 14, April 28 and May 12 at 7 p.m. at the North Central Research Extension Center. They also will be held on April 16, May 1 and May 14 at the First International Bank beginning at 12:10 p.m. and ending at 12:50 p.m. Participants can bring their lunch to the noon sessions.
The home care session will be held April 24 and May 8 at 12:10 p.m. at the First International Bank.
