The Granville Senior Citizens will host a turkey dinner: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the center. Smoked and regular turkey will be served along with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, cran-apple salad and pie. Freewill donations will benefit the club.
Faith United Methodist Church's Mini-Bazaar: Sunday and Dec. 14, both after the 10:45 a.m. worship services. 801 W. University Ave. Crafts, quilts, baked goods, glass ornaments and angels will be for sale. There will also be a silent auction.
Christmas at the Zoo: 1 to 4 p.m., Roosevelt Park Zoo Education Center. Admission is $1 per person for members of the Greater Minot Zoological Society and $2 for nonmembers. An adult must accompany children under age 12. There will be hot cider and treats, a chance to make Christmas crafts, have a photograph taken with Santa Clause for an additional charge, take a hayride, weather permitting, a chance to shop in the zoo gift shop, which will be open during the month of December from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and a chance to buy a zoological membership for 2009 at 2008 prices. Proceeds raised will go toward zoo improvements.
Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will sponsor a Christmas Tour of Homes in Tioga and Ray: 1 to 5 p.m. Advance tickets may be purchased from a sorority member. Tickets may be purchased that day at Ole & Lena's Hobby House in Tioga.
The Fort Union Muzzle Loaders, representing engages, will occupy Fort Union Trading Post to reenact the role of American Fur Co. employees: Sunday at Fort Union, near Williston. Augustana Lutheran Church of Underwood will hold its 50th annual Women's Christmas Tea: 2:30 p.m., in the church, 505-3rd St. The program will focus on Christmas memories. Scandinavian treats will be served.

The Heritage Singers men's chorus, the Voices of Note women's chorus, area high school students and Minot State University Concert Choir members will combine to present Handel's "Messiah": 4 p.m., MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. Admission is free but a freewill offering will be taken with proceeds used for the Joseph Hegstad Scholarship Fund at MSU.
The 38th Annual Celebration of Christmas Music by the Northwest Chorus and Orchestra Association Inc. of Crosby and Southeast Chorus Association Inc. of Estevan, Sask., an international chorus: 4 p.m., Crosby Concordia Lutheran Church, followed by a no-host supper at Mr. K's in Crosby."Go Tell It on the Mountain" is this year's theme. About 50 singers from both sides of the border are participating. Tickets are $15 for a family, $5 for adults, and $3 for students in grades one through eight. Preschoolers will be admitted for free.
Singing Christmas Tree 2008 program, "Love's Touch: An Epic Reach": Sunday and Dec. 14 at 4:30 p.m. and Dec. 10, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m., Assembly of God Church, 1805-2nd St. SE. Admission is free but people must call 838-1111 for advance tickets. A freewill offering will be taken. A nursery will be provided for children through age 3.
