Benefit @ Prairie Knights Casino

A benefit for Brent Kary, a Bismarck man fighting stage-four cancer, will be held in the Pavilion at Prairie Knights Casino, Fort Yates, Dec. 6. Live musical acts include O2 (hip-hop from Fargo), local folk/blues staple Ben Suchy, Bismarck band Broken English, the comedy duo the Sarah Palm Revolution, and hand drums by Wise Spirit and P-Nut. The night will begin with a silent auction from 6 to 8 p.m. Live entertainment begins at 8 p.m., with a live DJ and dance party to follow. The benefit will conclude at about 1 a.m. A cash bar will also be open throughout the evening. Funds will be raised through a $5 cover charge, free-will donations and the silent auction.
