• United Blood Services Blood Drive at Bishop Ryan High School in Minot: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call the school at 852-4004 to make an appointment.
• Soup kitchen: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Faith United Methodist Church, 801 W. University Ave. The church’s food and clothing pantry is open Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m.
• Public hockey: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Maysa Arena.
• Public ice skating: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Maysa Arena.
• Children interested in attending a Christmas Bible School offered by St. Leo’s Catholic Church Dec. 6 should preregister today. The program, “Christmas – A Christian Tradition,” will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Leo’s Community Center, 105-1st St. SE. The program is for children ages 3 through sixth grade and is open to children of all faiths. Lunch will be provided. A freewill offering for the Christmas Bible School will be accepted.
• Main Street Books presents “North Dakota Reads”: 7 p.m., at the store, 106 S. Main St. The “North Dakota Reads” series is presented at the store the first Monday of the month. The event is free and open to the public.
• Pregnancy Program: Physical therapists Krista Becker and Teressa Brock of the Souris Valley Care Center Outpatient Physical Therapy Department, Velva, will present a program for pregnant women, 7 p.m., Minot Public Library. They will talk about exercises during and after pregnancy, including how to prevent urinary incontinence. The program is sponsored by Souris Valley Care Center.
• Western Plains Children’s Choir Concert: 7:30 p.m., Minot State University’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.

• Minot City Council meeting: 7 p.m. City Hall, council chambers.
