The 62 Doors Gallery and Studios, 11B S. Main St., will have its 62 Doors Craftastic Artstravaganza: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. downtown, 11B S. Main St. The show will feature unique handmade gifts from local artists including jewelry, art, knits and journals.
Free Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., First Lutheran Church.
The Downtown Business and Professional Associationof Minot will have a Magical Holiday Memories Open House: 3 to 8 p.m. Maps will be available that day. Free parking will be available in city lots. Events will include photographs and dinner with Santa, the lighting of the tree ceremony, trailer rides in the downtown area, holiday music, food, a candlelight processions, and Rick Watson and Josh Barnes will be the featured musicians at Main Street Books, 106 S. Main St. at 7 p.m. The Taube Museum of Art, 2 N. Main St., will have its Festival of the Season Art Sale Friday through Dec. 23, with exhibit and craft items available for purchase.
Annual Dickens Village Festival: Friday through Sunday and Dec. 4, 5, 11 and 12 in Garrison. "A Christmas Carol," a play adaption by Jude Iverson of Charles Dickens' novella, will be Friday and Saturday; Dec. 4 and 5; and Dec. 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kota Theater in Garrison. That play will not be performed Nov. 29. Tickets for "A Christmas Carol" are $14. There will also be entertainment all of the above dates, including Nov. 29, at the Kota Theater at 2 p.m. The Nov. 27 performance at 2 p.m. will feature Milo Hatzenbuhler. Tickets for the Hatzenbuhler performance are $5. sold at the door. Other events include an English Market, carriage rides, tours, doubledecker bus rides, English High Tea, a Holiday Sing-Along, street food vendors and a lighted parade. Mouse River Players Community Theatre will present "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...Revue": Friday and Saturday, hors d'oeuvres and social hour at 6:30 p.m., music at 7:30 p.m., The Arlene Saugstad Theater, 115-1st St. SE, downtown Minot. The show is for people of all ages and will include Christmas favorites as well as some of the less-familiar selections. There will be drawings for door prizes. People may park in the St. Leo's parking lot east of the building. Tickets are $15. The revue is not part of the season ticket package. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 1-866-667-1977. The reservation line will close two hours prior to each performance. Unclaimed reservations will be made available for walk-in purchase 15 minutes before curtain time.
