Minot Salvation Army's Thanksgiving Dinner: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Parker Senior Center, 21-1st Ave. SE. Jerry Schlag will provide entertainment. The dinner is open to the public but people need to call the Salvation Army Corps at 838-8925 for reservations.
Inaugural "Friends Serving Friends" is hosting a free Thanksgiving meal: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dunseith High School Cafeteria. One of the purposes of the event is so that people do not have to spend Thanksgiving alone. Family photographs will be taken. Call James Nadeau at 263-6735 or Betty Swain at 244-2133 or 278-4911 to make reservations. People who need transportation should call 244-0199.
OTHER EVENTS
The Cystic Fibrosis Association of North Dakota will have its 20th Annual Turkey Trot Walk and Run Fundraiser in Bismarck: Registration 8 a.m., Bismarck Elks Lodge, 900 S. Washington St. The races and walk will start at 9:15 a.m. on Riverwood Drive. There will be a 10K run, 5K Run, 5K Walk and Non-Competitive Fun Walk. All ages may participate. Prizes will be given to the top three winners in each category and for the top six pledge raisers. Call 222-3998 for more information.
