United Blood Services of Minot and other businesses will sponsor The Twilight Saga "New Moon" Blood Drive: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sleep Inn, Dakota Square Mall. There will be free movie passes, water slide passes and New Moon posters for donors while supplies last. Call United Blood Services at 852-2161 or log onto (www.bloodhero.com) and enter "newmoon1120" as the sponsor code to schedule an appointment to donate blood. This blood drive is sponsored by United Blood Services, Sleep Inn-Inn and Suites, Splashdown Dakota Super Slides, Carmike Cinema and WGO & ZOO FM radio stations. Walk-ins will also be accepted but people are encouraged to make an appointment.

The Minot Area Theatrical Society will present benefit one-acts, "Warm Welcome," "The Good Loser," "The Way of All Fish" and "Thomas, Richard and Harold": Today and Saturday, 7 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m., The Vegas Motel, Minot. Baby Steps, a 20-minute story time for children ages 18 months to 3 years of age and their caregivers: 10 a.m., Minot Public Library's Imagination Station.
Ward County Public Library's story time for children ages 18 months and older and their parents or guardians: 11 a.m., 405-3rd Ave. NE. Story time will also include a craft/activity and a treat. Parents and guardians are asked to stay during story time.
OTHER EVENTS
University of Mary alumni, students, faculty and staff will bring William Shakespeare's "Hamlet" to the Stage for a 50th Anniversary Tribute: Performances are Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m., Arno Gustin Hall on the campus in Bismarck. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for high school students and seniors, general admission. Tickets are available at the door or may be reserved by calling 355-8146 during business hours.
