Minot Veterans Day program: 11 a.m., Minot Municipal Auditorium Armory. Chief Master Sgt. Gregory Fleming, command chief master sergeant of the 91st Missile Wing at Minot Air Force Base, will give the address.
Soup kitchen: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Immanuel Baptist Church, 1615-2nd St. SE.
The Minot Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary will hold the annual Veterans Day Bake Sale: noon, VFW Club, 1100-31st St. SE. Members should bring their baked goods to the VFW Club Wednesday morning.All proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to cancer aid and research.
Faith United Methodist Church's food and clothing pantry is open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 801 W. University Ave.
United Blood Services of Minot and Minnewaukan Community Blood Drive: 2 to 7 p.m., Trinity Free Lutheran Church, Minnewaukan. Call Beth Sayler at 473-2526 for an appointment.

YOUTH EVENTS
Whimsical Wednesdays story time for independent children ages 3-6: Wednesdays through Dec. 9 at 10:30 a.m., Minot Public Library's Imagination Station. Call 838-0606 for more information.
Game Day for teens and "tweens": 10 a.m. to noon, at the library. Teens and tweens will be able to play Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii games. Refreshments will be served. People should preregister by calling Krista at 852-1045 or sending her e-mail at ktiller@srt.com. Teen Advisory Group meetings are held the first Monday of each month from 4 to 5 p.m. at the library.

Activity for children in grades kindergarten through fifth: 2 p.m., Minot Public Library's Imagination Station. There will be pirate stories and "pirate activities." There is no school because of Veterans Day. Parents must preregister their children by calling 838-0606.
