Area blood drives are as scheduled: Nov. 9 from 12 to 6 p.m. and Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Devils Lake at the Devils Lake Armory, contact Betty Nygren at 662-4754 or 350-1714 or call St. Olaf Lutheran Church at 662-4911; Nov. 11 in Minnewaukan at Trinity Free Lutheran Church from 2 to 7 p.m., contact Beth Sayler at 473-2526; Nov. 12 in St. John at the St. John Community Center from 1 to 6 p.m., contact Paul and Debbie Indvik at 477-8917. People may donate blood by scheduling an appointment at a United Blood Services center. To make an appointment in Minot, call 852-2161 or in western North Dakota, call 1-888-221-3520. Donors may also make appointments online at (www.bloodhero.org).
