- United Blood Services Blood Drive: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, the Bloodmobile will be in the parking lot in front of the Administration Building. Contact Roxanne Vendsal at 857-4224 for an appointment.
- Several events for veterans will be held in New Town: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Four Bears Casino and Lodge west of New Town. A Welcome Home Event will include baseline medical exams and evaluations both days. The Women’s Health and Wellness program will be presented for female veterans Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with registration at 9 a.m. and a luncheon. Preregistration is required to attend the women’s event. The Compensation and Informational Fair will give veterans the opportunity to apply for veterans’ benefits without traveling to Fargo. Representatives of various veterans service organizations will be available to assist veterans, dependents and survivors with their claims. Veterans should bring a copy of their DD214 (discharge papers), service medical or personnel records, and any Department of Veterans Affairs paperwork they may have received earlier.
- Golden Oaks PTA: 10 a.m., bus will leave from Lowe’s Printing parking lot to North Plains Elementary School at Minot Air Force Base. Matt Balas will present information about Starbase. Prinicipal Wayne Strand will share information about the school.
- Public hockey: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Maysa Arena.
- Soup kitchen: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Immanuel Baptist Church, 1615-2nd St. SE.
- Public ice skating: 12:30 to 2 p.m., Maysa Arena.
- Faith United Methodist Church’s food and clothing pantry is open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 801 W. University Ave.
- Soup kitchen: 5 to 6:30 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 1000-3rd St. NE.
- Friends of the Minot Public Library Pre-Sale: 5:30 to 8 p.m., in the library. The pre-sale is for members of the Friends of the Minot Public Library. There will be a $2 charge for the pre-sale. Gourmet coffee and bars will be served. The Fall Book Sale for the public will be Thursday, noon to 9 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Mouse River Players Community Theatre Board of Directors: 6:15 p.m., The Arlene Saugstad Theater downtown, 115-1st St. SE.
- 2nd Story Social Club’s bingo: 8 p.m., 13-1st Ave. SW.
