United Blood Services Blood Drive: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Burdick Job Corps Center. Contact Dianne Freed at 857-9677 for an appointment.

Fall Bazaar at the Carnegie Center: Today, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 105-2nd Ave. SE. There will be free admission, free refreshments and door prizes every hour.

The Downtown Business and Professional Association of Minot will hold a Halloween Treat Trail for preschoolers and parents: 10 a.m. to noon. Maps will be available at several locations in downtown Minot. Participating businesses will have a pumpkin poster in their windows.

Minot's 33rd Annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair, "The Big One": Today, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., State Fair Center, Minot. Admission is $2 per person.

Free Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., First Lutheran Church.

Public ice skating and public hockey: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Maysa Arena.

Minot State University Athletic Luncheon: noon, Grand International Inn.

Minot Symphony League Luncheon Meeting: noon, Grand International Inn's Maple Leaf Room. Current and former members of the Women's Symphony League/Minot Symphony League may attend. Call Rita at 838-0937.

Trick or Treating at Edgewood Vista: 3 to 4:30 p.m., 800-16th Ave. SE. Children ages 12 and under should use the east door.

MSU Showcase Concert: 3:30 p.m., MSU's Ann Nicole Nelson Hall.

Roosevelt Park Zoo's "Not So Scary Haunted House" will be open: 4 to 6 p.m., at the zoo. Admission is $1 for Greater Minot Zoological Society members and $2 for nonmembers. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Trick or Treat at Sykes: 4 to 6 p.m., 2700-8th St. NW.

The 26th Annual Community Halloween Party for children: 5 to 8 p.m., Minot State University Dome. The free event is sponsored by the Optimist Club of Minot and the MSU Student Council for Exceptional Children.

Trick or Treat at Dakota Square Mall: 5 to 7 p.m.

The Minot VFW Post No. 753 and auxiliary will host a Halloween Trick or Treat Party: 5 to 7:30 p.m., VFW Post, 1100-31st St. SE. Lucky Lennie the clown will be there making balloons.

Fall Festival: Games from 6 to 7 p.m., bonfire at 7 p.m., Apostolic Faith Church, 2929-19th Ave. NW, located on the 83 Bypass.

Harvest Festival: 6 to 8:30 p.m., Minot Municipal Auditorium, sponsored by River of Life Church. There will be games and candy. Each person is asked to bring one bag of candy for admission.

First Church of the Nazarene will hold a "Trunk or Treat" event: 6 to 8 p.m., church parking lot, 2500 W. Central Ave. The church parking lot will be lined with vehicles and children of all ages will be given treats.

Immanuel Baptist Church will host a "Trunk or Treat" event: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., church parking lot, 1615-2nd St. SE. Cars will be decorated and treats will be passed out from the trunks.

Trick or Treat and Haunted House at Somerset Court in Minot: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., 1900-28th St. SW. Admission is one food pantry item per child, which will be donated to local food pantries. Children may go trick or treating through the hallways.

Haunted House at Roosevelt Park Zoo: 7 to 11 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be $1 off same night repeat visits.

Burlington Fire Department and Carpio Fire Department Haunted House: 7 p.m. to midnight, Old Fire Hall, 15 Johnson St., Burlington. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5 per person.

Parshall Haunted House: 7 to 11 p.m., Parshall Resource Center. Admission is $2 for children and $3 for adults.

2nd Story Social Club's Halloween bingo: 8 p.m., 13-1st Ave. SW.

Rugby Swinging Singles Dance: 8 p.m.to midnight, Rugby Eagles Club. Lunch will be served and H & V Melodies will provide music.The dance is open to all single people and invited married couples.
