"Coping and Caring Workshop": 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Grand International Inn, Minot. The workshop is sponsored by ManorCare Health Services, Brentmoor, the Minot Housing Authority, Trinity Homes and Aging Services. The purpose of the workshop is to provide skills and knowledge to caregivers of the elderly. Preregistration is required. Call Cheryl Coyle at 852-1255 for more information.

Lutheran Campus Ministry's Inaugural Chili Feed: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Augustana Lutheran Church, 321 W. University Ave. The event is open to the public and a freewill donation will be accepted. Minot State University students may eat for free.
Roosevelt Park Zoo will have its Scary Haunted House open: Thursday through Saturday, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m., at the zoo. Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 years old and younger. The Glenburn Drama Department and the Glenburn Boosters will present a Dinner Theater of Glenburn High School's fall one-act comedy play, "No Show!": Dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the school multipurpose room; show at 7:30 p.m. in the Old Gym. The cost for both is $11 and tickets may be purchased from any cast member or by calling the Glenburn School at 362-7426.

The Minot High School-Magic City Campus Playmakers will present "Seussical the Musical," a musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss: Thursday through Saturday, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m., Arvel Graving Theater, MHS-Magic City Campus. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for students and $3 for children ages 5 and younger. For a reserved seat call 420-1805.
