Burlington Fire Department Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Burlington Elementary School. There will be a freewill offering and proceeds will go toward finishing the new fire station in Burlington.

St. Leo's Bazaar and Craft Sale: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., St. Leo's Community Center, 105-1st St. SE. There will be homemade crafts, handcrafted jewelry, baked goods and a Grandma's Attic.

Soup kitchen: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Seventh-day Adventist Church, 10-17th Ave. SW.

St. Leo's Parish Annual Roast Turkey Dinner: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in St. Leo's Church basement, 218-1st St. SE. An elevator is available for people with handicaps. Tickets are $7 for adults; $3.50 for children ages 6-12; $1 for children ages 2-5 or $25 per family, which includes parents and children ages 18 and younger.

The Minot State University Theater Department will present "Boy Gets Girl," a chilling drama by Rebecca Gilman: 2 p.m., Hartnett Hall's Harold G. Aleshire Theater. The play is for mature audiences. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students, or free for MSU students and faculty with an MSU identification card. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 858-3172.

First Lutheran Church of Washburn's 25th Annual Lutefisk/Meatball Dinner: 2 to 6 p.m., in the church across from the McLean County Courthouse. The cost is $13 for adults and $5 for children under age 12. There is an elevator in the church so the church is accessible for people with handicaps.

Public ice skating: 3 to 6 p.m., Maysa Arena.

Zion Lutheran Church of Towner's Lutefisk, Lefse and Meatball Supper: 4 to 7 p.m., in the church, 107-4th Ave. SW, Towner. The church is accessible for people with handicaps. Tickets are $13 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12. Take-out orders will also be available.

Annual fall supper in Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town: 4 to 7 p.m., in the church. Roast pork with all the trimming will be served. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under and $9 for take-out meals. Preschoolers will not be charged.

Auditions for the Mouse River Players Community Theatre production of "The Dining Room": 5 p.m., The Arlene Theater, MRP building downtown, 115-1st St. SE. "The Dining Room" is A. R. Gurney's humorous theatrical tour de force. The cast calls for six to 10 adults of various ages, ages 20 and above, and six to eight youth, ages 10-16. Males and females are needed. Rock for the Cure fundraiser: 6 p.m., Grand International Inn. Admission is $5 per person at the door. Performing will be Stay Out Late and Merick, both Minot bands, and Fate of Angels and Bright Light Parade, both from Nebraska. All proceeds will benefit Trinity Cancer Care.
