The North Dakota Safety Council Inc. will offer the Defensive Driving Course: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Minot State University's Model Hall, Room 207. The cost is $45 per person, $40 if you are a member of the N.D. Safety Council, or $30 for senior citizens ages 55 and older. Additional family members may take the course for $20. Free yoga clinic: 9 a.m. to noon, Minot Family YMCA. Y membership is not required to attend. There will be three 45-minute introductory sessions and people may come for one session or attend all three. River of Life Church will host "Porn and Pancakes," a discussion on the seriousness of pornography addiction, a breakfast and entertainment: 9 a.m., Minot Municipal Auditorium. The event is also sponsored by XXXChurch.com and is geared toward men. Porn and Pancakes has been featured on several major broadcasting networks. There will be two seminars, one at 11 a.m. and one at 12:30 p.m. The 11 a.m. seminar will be by Darren Armstrong, joint replacement coordinator for Trinity Health, who will speak on "New Concepts in Joint Replacement." Scott Guenthner from the N.D. Highway Patrol will speak at 12:30 p.m. His topic will be "We Need to Talk... Family Conversations With Older Drivers."
