- Public hockey and public ice skating: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Maysa Arena.
- Minot State University Brown Bag Book Talk: noon to 12:45 p.m., Gordon B. Olson Library at MSU, lower level. People may bring their lunch. Casey Coleman from the MSU Psychology Department will discuss the book, “Teachers Have it Easy: The Big Sacrifices and Small Salaries of America’s Teachers” by Daniel Moulthrop.

- Faith United Methodist Church’s food and clothing pantry is open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 801 W. University Ave.

- Public reception for “Arts Dakota” exhibit and Elizabeth Austin’s exhibit: 6:30 to 8 p.m., MSU’s Hartnett Hall. Austin will give a gallery talk at 7 p.m. Austin’s exhibit will be displayed in Hartnett Hall Gallery through Oct. 31. She lives in Hanover, N.H. “Arts Dakota” will be displayed through Oct. 21 in the Gordon B. Olson Library Gallery and in Hartnett Hall Gallery.
- Surrey All-School Reunion election of officers and organizational meeting: 7 p.m., Barry’s Food & Fuel in Surrey.
