"Gearing Up for Kindergarten," a program for families with a child entering kindergarten in the fall of 2009, will begin Thursday in Minot. The sessions will have preschool activities and parent education topics. The class will meet weekly for 16 weeks and will be completed May 21. The program is free and child care is available. Preregistration is required by calling 857-6450.
