North Dakota Museum of Art: The North Dakota Museum of Art at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks presents an internationally recognized exhibition, "The Disappeared," through Jan. 17. The exhibit contains art by 23 contemporary artists from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, Uruguay and Venezuela who, over the course of the past 30 years, have made art about people who have been "disappeared" for one reason or another by hostile forces. Some worked in the resistance, some had parents or siblings who were disappeared and others were forced into exile. A symposium is scheduled for Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.
