Thomas Scott Mars-
land, 65, died unexpect-
edly in a Minneapolis
hospital March 4, 2019.
He was born October 11,
1953 in Minot, North
Dakota to Dale and Donna
St. Croix-Marsland. He
completed his education
in Minot, where he met
the love of his life, Sue
Owen. They were married
January 23, 1978. Togeth-er they raised two amaz-
ing children, Aaron and
Molly.
As a teenager, he gave
his life to Jesus Christ, his
Savior and Lord, and his
strong faith sustained him
throughout his lifetime.
Tom lived his life with
passion in both his love of
people, and in his many
entrepreneurial pursuits.
He was gifted in his abili-
ty to connect with people
from varied walks in life.
Tom started several
businesses and began a
career as a radio personal-ity in his young adult
years and was a well
known Christian radio
host in the Minneapolis
area. He was in sales for
many years. Ill health
forced him to curb his
work activities in recent
years.
Tom is survived by: his
wife Sue of Maple Grove,
Minnesota, his children
Aaron (Tracy) of Coon Ra-
pids, MN, and Molly
(Andy) of Hanover, MN;
grandchildren William
and Sophia, Owen and
Carter; parents Dale and
Donna Marsland; siblings
Mike (Julie) Black Hawk
South Dakota and Jean
(Mark) Frueh of Minot,
ND. Tom also shared a
close relationship with his
aunt Linda (Ron); and
many beloved nieces,
nephews, cousins, and
their children.
Tom was preceded in
death by: his grand-
daughter Ava Marsland;
grandparents Walter and
Florence St. Croix, Harry
and Carrie Marsland; un-
cles Bud St. Croix, Charlie
Harris, Bob Marsland, and
Gerald Deslauriers; and
aunt Donna Faye Mars-
land.
