Maurice Frame
LANSFORD – Maurice
Norman Frame, 89, Lans-
ford, passed away on
Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at
his home.
Maurice was the young-
est of five children born to
Floyd and Laura (Bo-
lander) Frame. They were
raised on a ranch near
Faith, S.D. He graduated
from Dupree High School.
Maurice was in the mili-
tary, serving his country
in the Army during the
Korean War in the early
1950s.
Maurice married Jane
Mosher in Willow City in
August of 1959. They set-
tled in rural Lansford
where they farmed and
raised their children.
Maurice retired in the
late-1990s.
Maurice served as a
board member for the
Lockwood Township for
many years. He was a
former member of the
American Legion and the
Moose Lodge. He enjoyed
games, watching his kids
play sports, playing cards
and shooting pool in his
earlier years. Later in life,
he enjoyed watching the
Timberwolves on TV, go-
ing to the casino and play-
ing bingo.
Family: Maurice is sur-
vived by his loving wife
of 59 years, Jane Frame;
and their children,
Morrey Frame, Kyle
Frame, Neil (Tammy)
Frame, Bryce Frame,
Dawn (Randy) Emerson
and Cheryl (Sheldon)
Ackerson; 13 grandchil-
dren and four
great-grandchildren; and
many cousins, nieces and
nephews.
Maurice was preceded
in death by: his parents;
siblings, Tom Frame, Wal-
lace Frame, Jim Frame
and Carol Johnson
A gathering will be held
in the summer of 2019.
