Dennis Ernest Nienow

was born May 2, 1943 in

Minot, ND to Ivan and

Evelyn (Jones) Nienow.

As a young man Dennis

helped with the family

business, Nienow House-

moving. After his dad’s

death in 1972, he took

over the business which

he operated for many


Dennis loved his fami-

ly! “Family is family, no

matter what”. He has now

gone fishing, for a long

time, which he will enjoy

for eternity. Dennis en-

joyed playing cards and

visiting family and

friends. He loved his time

at Rice Lake and taking

trips out west to see his


Dennis’s loved ones left

behind to share his

memories are his sisters,

Darla (Bob) Otteson and

Debra (Lyle) Renfrow;

brother-in-law, Myron

Lahti; his nieces and

nephews “his whatchama-

callits”, Bernie, Tara, Kory

(Daisy), Austyn (Jordan),

Jessie (Jeremy), Justin

(Amy), KyLee (Chris),

Kobe, Tanner, Tobin,

Hunter, Klay, Casey, Je-

Anna, Rod, Ilene, Denise

and Johnny.

sisters, Donna Lahti, and

Dianne (Jim) McLaughlin;

his twin brother, Darryl;

grandparents; uncles,

aunts, cousins, nephew,

Doug Lahti; and his forev-

Funeral Service: Fri-

day, October 12, 2018,

2:00 p.m. at Bread of Life

Lutheran Church, Minot.

Visitation: Friday one

hour prior to the service

at the church.

Burial: Sunset Memori-

al Gardens, Minot.
