Senior Center. Celebra-

tion of Life Services will

be in Gillette, WY on

Wednesday, September 5,

2018 at 2:00 p.m., at

Campbell County Senior

Center with Pastor Susan

Reichenberg officiating.

Born May 9, 1933, Riga

Township, North Dakota

to parents Alta and Louis

Hanson and entered into

Eternal Rest August 25,

2018, Gillette, Wyoming.

She worked next to her

mother at the Eaton

Ranch in Towner, ND,

cooking, cleaning and tak-

ing care of the ranch.

Graduating from Denbigh

High School, she went on

to college to get her teach-

ing certificate and taught

at a one room school

house prior to her mar-

riage to Glenn Dilley on

December 19, 1954. She

and Glenn had a farm and

ranch East of Granville

where they built their

home in 1961. Later, El-

vera went to work with a

meat packing plant-Taste

Rite and during this time

she also sold Tupperware

and was very successful at

this. In the 80’s Elvera got

the position to cook at the

Granville Senior Citizen

Center, while working

with the Center, Elvera

got involved with the

Minot Commission on Ag-

ing, Souris Basin Tran-

sportation Department

and served as President of

the Granville Public

School Board. She and

Glenn became involved

with the McHenry County

Food Pantry, they coordi-

nated the food pick-ups,

distributions and

deliveries in McHenry

County until their retire-

ment and move to Gil-

lette, Wyoming in 2011.

Once in Gillette, they

were involved in the

Senior Community when

Glenn passed away in

2013. She became more

involved in the Senior Ci-

tizen Center eventually

being on the Board of

Directors. She is preceded

in death by her mother,

Alta Jacobson; father,

Louis Hanson; husband,

Glenn Dilley; brother, Jess

Bednar; and sister, Geor-

gie Bednar; Elvera is sur-

vived by Glenda Hickman

(Bob), Gillette, Wyoming;

Robert Dilley (Mary), Des-

tin, Florida; Jodi Diego,

Harrisburg, PA; Matthew

Dilley (Lora), Gillette,

Wyoming; 15 Grandchil-

dren, 5

great-grandchildren, sis-

ter, Julia Bednar, Eureka,

California. Memorials and
