Adeline Schoenberg,

89, Minot, ND, passed

away Saturday, August

25, 2018, in her home sur-

rounded by her loving

family.

Adeline Filler was born

September 15, 1928, the

daughter of Emanuel and

Wanda (Jantz) Filler, on a

farm located south of

Sawyer, ND. She was

raised on a farm near Fair-

view, MT, and attended

East Fairview School. As a

young adult, she worked

on the family farm.

Adeline married Har-

low F. Schoenberg June

13, 1946, at the Ward

County Courthouse in

Minot. They made their

home in Benedict where

they first lived in a tar pa-

per shack. They lived in

Benedict for many years

and in 1967, they moved

to Minot, where she

worked in the laundry

department at Trinity

Hospital for 26 years.

In their retirement

years, they wintered in

Arizona and traveled

around the country. Har-

low passed away January

18, 1999.

She was a member of

Bethany Lutheran Church

and the Women of the

Moose in Minot.

She was a loving wife,

mother, grandmother,

great-grandmother, and

great-great-grandmother,

who enjoyed sewing, knit-

ting, quilting, crocheting,

and cross-stitching.

Her loving family in-

cludes: daughters, Betty

(Delton) Blumhagen, Kief,

ND, Gloria (Kenneth)

Wilhelm, Minot; sons,

Edgar (Dianna) Schoen-

berg, Minot, Alroy (Linda)

Schoenberg, Garrison, and

Bryon (Cindy) Schoen-

berg, Minot; 14 grandchil-dren; 20

great-grandchildren; three

great-great-grandchildren;

brother, Tom (Cara) Filler,

MT; sisters, Darlene (Ber-

nard) Pease, MT; and

Lucy Langwald, ND; sis-

ter-in-law, Virginia Filler,

TX; and numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins.

Adeline was preceded

in death by her parents,

Emanuel and Wanda Fill-

er; husband, Harlow; son,

Darrel (Kathy) Schoen-

berg; brothers, Alvin

(Joan) Filler, Richard Fill-

er, and Ernest Filler; sis-

ters, Mary Damm and

Deloris Filler; brothers-in-

law, Dean Keller and Ber-

nard Langwald.

Funeral: Thursday, Au-

gust 30, 2018, at 1:00 p.m.

at Bethany Lutheran-

Church, Minot.

Interment: Rosehill

Memorial Park, Minot,

ND.

Visitation: Wednesday

from 5 to 7 p.m. at

Thompson-Larson Fun-

eral Home, Minot.
