tone, 67, Minot, died
Monday, July 16, 2018 in
a motor vehicle accident
near Tioga, ND.
Rick was born May 25,
1951 in Montrose, Penn-
sylvania, the son of Paul
and Frances (Benio) Can-
tone. He was raised and
educated in Montrose and
graduated from Montrose
High School in 1969. He
enlisted with the US Air
Force and honorably
served his country for
four years with stints at
Minot Air Force Base and
Guam during that time.
Rick was united in mar-
riage to Andrea Christman
on September 23, 1977.
They have resided in
Minot, where he had been
employed for nearly 15
years with Farroh Roof
Truss Company and the
past 29 years as a driver
for Farstad Oil Company
in Minot.
Rick was a member of
St John the Apostle
Catholic Church, Minot.
He was an avid hunter
and #1 fan of the Pitts-
burgh Steelers. He loved
spending time with his
family and caring for their
horses. He was well
known for spending time
on his tractor and keeping
his lawn well manicured.
He also enjoyed being an
over the road trucker,
hauling fuel for Farstad
Oil Company.
Rick’s loving family in-
cludes: his wife of 40
years, Ann; children, Paul
(Melissa) Cantone, Minot,
Chad (Elizabeth) Cantone,
Moorhead, MN, Chase
Cantone, Tulsa, OK & Pa-
tricia Cantone and her
friend, Martin Jackson,
Grand Forks, ND; grand-
children, Kaden, Bailey,
Riley, Gianna & Rowan
Cantone; brothers, Bill

CA, Thomas Cantone of
Montrose, PA, Joe Can-
tone of Montrose, PA,
Mary Brooks of Falls, PA,
Dorothy Caines of Grand
Rapids, MI, Toni Cantone
of Montrose, PA; several
nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Rick was preceded in
death by his parents;
grandchildren, Taylor
Ann Cantone, Carter
James Cantone; siblings,

Dorothy and Admiral
