Mabel Forschen 87 of

Harvey died Wednesday,

January 31, 2018 at the St.

Aloisius Nursing Home,

Harvey.

Funeral services will be

held at the Faith Lutheran

Church of Harvey on Sa-

turday February 3, 2018 at

10:30 a.m.

Visitation: will be held

at the Hertz Funeral

Home of Harvey on Friday

from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Burial: will be in the

spring at St. Martin Luth-

eran Cemetery,

Anamoose.

Mabel was born on

January 19, 1931 near

Westhope, North Dakota.

She was the daughter of

Norman and Flora Mae

(Johnson) Dixon. Mabel

grew up and attended

school in Westhope. Ma-

bel married Lloyd

Forschen on October 18,

1949 near Antler, North

Dakota. They lived in

Minot for a short time and

returned to the Antler

area in 1950. In 1959 they

moved to Anamoose area

where they later pur-

chased a farm. They

moved into Anamoose in

1989. Lloyd died on De-

cember 26, 1994. Mabel

moved into Harvey in

September of 2015. Ma-

bel was a salesperson for

Watkins she also went to

many craft shows where

she sold her crafts. Tat-

ting was her gift, her

grandma taught her tat-

ting at the age of 4. Mabel

also enjoyed sewing and

made many Quilts.

Mabel was a member of

the Faith Lutheran

Church of Harvey, Harvey

Senior Citizens, VFW

Auxiliary 6831 of

Anamoose and Anamoose

Senior Citizens.

Mabel is survived by:

her son, Michael (Deb)

Forschen of Harvey;

daughter, Roberta (Berdie)

Rudnick and her friend

Chuck Leier both of Vel-

va; 4 grandchildren; 4

great-grandchildren;

Mabel was preceded in

death by: her parents;

husband, Lloyd;

grandchildren, infant

granddaughter Forschen

and Jenelle Rudnick;

son-in-law, Robert Rud-

nick; brother, Robert Dix-

on; sister, Helen

Forschen.
