country school in rural

Max and graduated from

years.

After fair warning from

numerous people, Ken-

neth bucked them all and

married Ruth Olson on

July 30, 1983 at Our

Savior’s Lutheran Church

in Max! They made their

home north of Max where

they continued to farm

and ranch and raise their

family.

Kenneth loved his life

as a husband, father,

grandfather, and farmer

and rancher. He

thoroughly enjoyed work-

ing with the cows and

horses on the farm. He

was instrumental in or-

ganizing the Max Rodeo

Association. He also par-

ticipated in team roping

and other various rodeo

events with his old bud-

dies. Two things that

Kenneth absolutely loved

was baking huge batches

of cookies with his chil-

dren and their friends and

deer hunting in the fall

with his children and

close friend, Richard.
