Gladys Eisenrich, 96,

Butte, passed away Tues-

day, December 12, 2017 at

the Souris Valley Care

Center in Velva.

Gladys Yecoshenko,

daughter Walter and Mary

(Kohannes) Yecoshenko,

was born May 23, 1921 on

the family farm south of

Butte where she grew up

and attended country

school.

She was married to

George Eisenrich in 1942.

They made their home

south of Butte where they

farmed and ran a dairy

operation and a cattle

trucking business. In ad-

dition to helping with the

farming operation, Gladys

was a wonderful

homemaker. She also

served as pianist for the

Assembly of God Church

in Butte for many years.

Following George’s death

in 1988, Gladys remained

on the farm until moving

into Butte in 2005. She

had been a resident of the

Souris Valley Care Center

in Velva since 2013.

Gladys is survived by:

her daughter, JoAnn (Bill)

Fortner of Bowling Green,

KY; two grandsons, Chad

and Brian Fortner;

sisters-in-law, Ruth, Amy

and Lydia Yecoshenko;

and a number of nieces

and nephews.

She was preceded in

death by: her husband;

her parents; brothers,

Sam, William, Melvin, Ed

and an infant brother; and

sisters, Ella Wolf, Emma

Verbitsky and Mabel

Zalomsky.

Visitation: will be held

Saturday, December 16

from 12:00 until 2:00 P.

M. at the Liberty Baptist

Church in Kief followed

by a 2:00 P. M. funeral.

Burial: will be held at the

Butte Cemetery in Butte.
