pectedly Friday, October
13, 2017, in his home.
Mark Thompson Bot-
teicher was born October
29, 1952, the son of
Sherald and Elizabeth
“Debbie” (Salyards) Bot-
teicher, in Altoona, PA.
He was raised and educat-ed in Hollidaysburg, PA,
and graduated from Holli-
daysburg Area Senior
High School in 1970.
He enlisted in the Unit-
ed States Air Force in
March 1972. He proudly
served his country and
worked as an Inventory
Management Specialist.
He was honorably
discharged in February
1980.
Following his honorable
discharge, Mark made his
home in Minot, where he
worked at the Sweetheart
Bakery. In 1982, he began
his employment with
Cloverdale, first as the
warehouse manager and
eventually a sales
representative. He contin-ued in that capacity until
1995, when he went to
work for Grand Forks
Food Service in Minot. In
1999, he began employ-
ment as a sales represen-
tative for Food Services of
America in Minot. He
then worked as a car
salesman at a couple local
car dealerships in Minot,
most recently at Westlie
Motor Company.
Mark married Katherine
Ann Milbrath September
7, 2009, in Minot, ND.
He was an active
member of Moose Lodge.
Mark’s passion was bar-
bequing which led him to
compete in many cook-
offs. He loved feeding
people. Mark and Kate’s
Lemonade Stand was al-
ways open. He was an
avid fan of the Pittsburgh
Steelers football team.
Mark loved life. He was a
people person who en-
joyed visiting. He espe-
cially enjoyed spending
time with his family and
his extended family and
loved his Australian
Shepherd dog, Jack.
His loving family in-
cludes: wife, Kathy,
Minot; son, Josh (Jessica)
Botteicher, Charleston,
SC; daughters, Kayla Bot-
teicher, Powers Lake, ND,
Kelly Botteicher Millham,
Pensacola, FL, and Alex
Botteicher, Dickinson,
ND; Kathy’s children,
Jeremy (Ngoc) Hanson,
Cedar Park, TX, Linnzi
(Scott) Aberle, Minot;
grandchildren, Mia, Pey-
ton, Kayla, Jacob, Calob,
Eli, Eva, Autumn, Leah,
Sydney, Pearl, Zane, and
Chase; father, Sherald,
Botteicher, Pennsylvania;
brother, Steve (Bonnie)
Botteicher, Pennsylvania;
sister, Pamela Fleming,
Pennsylvania; brother-
in-law, Paul (Rhonda)
Milbrath, Doug Milbrath,
and Vern Milbrath, all of
Bottineau; father-in-law,
Earl Milbrath, Bottineau,
ND; and nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Mark was preceded in
death by his mother, Deb-
bie; mother-in-law, Pearl
Milbrath; and sister-
in-law, Deb Milbrath.
Celebration of Life Ser-
vice: Tuesday, October
17, 2017,at 5:00 p.m. at
the Moose Lodge in
Minot.
Memorials: In lieu of
