78, Cheyenne, Wyoming,

formerly of Minot, passed

away Friday, October 20,

2017 in a V.A. Medical

Center in Cheyenne.

Alfred was born on

February 16, 1939, in Or-

rin, ND. He attended

Drake School and

Richardton Abby school.

He attended State

Teacher’s College in

Minot, ND. Alfred mar-

ried Marlys on December

2, 1961 at St. Leo’s Cathol-

ic Church, Minot. Alfred

entered the US Army, De-

cember 5, 1962 to De-

cember 4, 1964 with a

honorable discharge.

He worked at J. C.

Penny’s until employment

as TMO Supervisor at the

Minot Air Force Base.

Alfred was transferred to

Norton Air Force Base,

CA and F.E. Warren Air

Force Base in Cheyenne

where he retired.

Alfred was an active

Knights of Columbus

member while in Minot

and was a lifetime

member.

His family includes: his

wife, Marlys, children

Debbie (Barry) Young,

Plano, TX, Brenda

(Charles) Chantry,

Richardson, TX; Cindy

(Bill) Degenhardt, Dallas,

TX ; Laurie (Tom) Andres,

Yucaipa, CA;

Jamie(Dutch) McBride,

Cheyenne, WY; seven

grandchildren, three sis-

ters, and one brother,

numerous nieces,

nephews and cousins.
