Helen Perrigo, 86, Mi-
not, passed away Thurs-
day, August 31, 2017, at
Minot Health and Rehab.
Helen Marie Ford was
born March 10, 1931, the
daughter of Max and Beu-
lah (Bolson) Ford, in Lex-
ington, Kentucky. She
was raised in Lexington
until her teenage years,
when she moved with her
family to Denver, Colora-
do. She was educated in
Denver. She furthered her
education by attending
Denver University, where
she graduated with a de-
gree in Nursing.
Helen married James A.
Perrigo April 10, 1952, in
Denver, CO. They made
their home in Denver,
where she raised their two
children, Penelope and
Pamela. They had also
resided in Arizona, Cali-
fornia and Oregon before
moving to Minot, ND, in
1994. James passed away
in 2000.
Following her hus-
band’s death, she contin-
ued to reside in Minot.
She was a member of
Little Flower Catholic
Church in Minot, where
she enjoyed being active
in the Confraternity of
Christian Mothers. She
also enjoyed reading and
watching television.
Surviving family in-
cludes: daughters, Penny
Tallman, Minot, ND, and
Pamela (Steve) Tatman,
Commerce City, CO; four
grandchildren, Heather
(Vern) Tallman Girvin,
Jerry Tallman, Candice
Tatman, and David Tat-
man; 20 great-grandchild-
ren; two great great-grand-
children; a niece and a
nephew.
Helen was preceded in
death by her parents; hus-
band; infant twin sons;
brother, William Ford;
son-in-law, Dennis Tall-
man.
Cremation has taken
place.

later date.
