holm, passed away

Wednesday, August 9,

2017, at Minot Health and

Rehab.

Raymond Alfred Dostert

was born January 28,

1928, the son of Anthony

N. and Rosena T.

(Schmitz) Dostert, in Bur-

lington, ND. He was

raised on the Dostert fam-

ily farm located in Fox-

holm Township, of Ward

County, ND. He graduated

from Lonetree High

School in 1946. As a

young adult, he assisted

his parents with the

operation of the family

farm.

He spent virtually his

entire life as a farmer on

the family farm. He

moved to an apartment in

Minot, ND, in 2007. Re-

cently he lived at

Brookdale-Brentmoor As-

sisted living in Minot. He

never lost his love for the

farm, though.

He was a member of St.

Mary’s Catholic Church in

Foxholm, ND. After mov-

ing to Minot he became a

member of St. Leo’s

Catholic Church. He was

also a member of the Elks,

Moose Club and Knights

of Columbus.

Raymond liked to col-

lect antiques and fix

them. Especially clocks

and radios.

cludes: brothers, Joseph

of Minot, Edwin of Bur-

lington

sisters, Catherine Op-

land, Seattle, WA, Irene

Dostert, Minot, Patricia

Lesmeister, Minot.

brother-in-law, Richard

Novak, Minot; and many

nieces, nephews and

cousins

Raymond was preceded

in death by his parents,

Anthony and Rosena;

brother, Anthony B. Dos-

tert; sisters, Anna Schan,

Frances Price and Bernice

Novak; brothers-in-law,

Wendell Lesmeister, John

J. Schan, Walter Opland

and Wilbert Price;

nephews, John A. Schan

and Mark Dostert; and a

niece, Karla Opland Gro-

gan.

al: Monday, August 14,

2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Our

Lady of Grace Cathol-

icChurch, Minot.

Interment: St. Mary’s

Catholic Cemetery, Fox-

holm, ND.
