Robert Rollman, 81,
Granville, ND, passed
away Tuesday, July 25,
2017, at Trinity Hospital
of Minot, ND, surrounded
by his family following a
long fight with cancer.
Robert Gerald Rollman
was born May 31, 1936,
the youngest of 11 chil-
dren to Clarence and Lucy
(Peck) Rollman, in Minot.
He was raised on the fam-
ily farm north of Granville
and attended school in
Granville.
Following high school,
Robert enlisted in the Un-
ited States Navy. He
proudly served his coun-
try for 20 years before re-
tiring from his military
career. Following his
honorable discharge,
Robert worked construc-
tion jobs, building many
houses and structures. He
later became a custodian
at Granville School and
loved visiting with the
staff and students.
While in the Navy,
Robert met Dolores Hud-
son. They were married
for fourteen years, and
from this union four chil-
dren were born. The cou-
ple would later divorce.
On December 13, 1980,
Robert married Helen
Berg. Helen had two chil-
dren, whom Robert loved
and helped to raise. He
was very proud of his
children, grandchildren
and nieces and nephews.
Robert enjoyed spend-
ing time with his brothers.
He and his brother,
Donald, were always in-
separable and enjoyed
meeting for coffee and go-
ing fishing together. He
was also on a bowling
league with his brothers
Richard and Harry and his
sister Lois. Robert also
loved to hunt. He always
enjoyed visiting with oth-
ers, and loved playing
cards at the Granville
Senior Citizens Center.

Craig (Karen) Rollman;

Rollman, Matthew
Krout-Rollman, Casey
(Hannah) Skelly, Nicholas
Skelly, Courtney Skelly,
Koby Voeller, Daevun
Hickey and Dallis Hickey;
great-grandchildren, Arya
and Molly Skelly, Brook-
lynn Dalen and Carter
Voeller; brothers, Gordon
Rollman, Harry Rollman
and Donald Rollman; and
numerous nieces and
nephews who meant the
world to him.
Robert was preceded in
death by his parents; son,
Bobby Rollman; brothers,
Raymond, Leroy, Richard
and Ralph; and his sisters,
Margaret, Lois and
Marion.
Graveside Service:
Monday, July 31, 2017, at
11:00 a.m. at Granville
Community Cemetery,
Granville, ND.
