Pam Simonson

Pam Simonson, 70,

Minot, passed away unex-

pectedly on Monday,

March 27, 2017 in her

home.

Pamela Jeanne Stump

was born on February 7,

1947, the daughter of

Robert L. and Rose J.

(Reiner) Stump in Gary,

Indiana. She was raised

and educated in Indiana,

where she graduated from

Crown Point High School

in 1965. Pam furthered

her education by attend-

ing South Bend College of

Business in South Bend,

IN. Following her gradua-

tion, Pam moved to

Bismarck, ND in 1971,

and started working for

the North Dakota State

Tax Department.

On April 20, 1974,

Pamela was united in

marriage to Greg Simon-

son in Crown Point. Fol-

lowing their marriage they

made their home in

Minot, ND, where Pam

worked for North Central

Human Services, was able

to be a homemaker and

mother while the children

were young, and later was

employed by Farstad Oil

Company in the

billing/accounting divi-

sion.

She was a member of

Bethany Lutheran

Church, Minot, where she

was active within the

women’s ministry,

Homemakers Club and

the Beta Sigma Phi Sorori-

ty Group.

She enjoyed spending

time at Lake Metigoshe,

reading, shopping and

spending time with her

coffee groups. Above all

else Pam cherished her

role as Mom and Grand-

ma.

Pam is survived by:

Husband of 42 years,

Greg, Minot;

Children: Kyle (Angela)

Simonson, Minot; Kara

(Keegan) Currie, Minot

Two grandchildren:

Drew (2) and Colee (10

months)

Siblings: Tim (Sherri)

Stump, Lowell, IN,

Corinne (Mark) Frank,

Chandler, AZ;

Brothers and

sisters-in-law: Dawn (Jim)

Evans, Cody, WY, Clair

(Nancy) Simonson, Glen-

burn, ND;

Several nieces,

nephews and cousins also

survive.

Pamela was preceded

in death by: her parents,

Robert and Rose, and her

in-laws, Morgan and Ma-

bel Simonson.

March 31, 2017 from 3

until 6 pm at

eral Home, Minot

day, April 1, 2017 at 11

am at Bethany Lutheran
