Marilyn Beyer
May 24, 1945-Feb. 16, 2017
Marilyn Irene Beyer, 71,
Minot, went to be with
the Lord on Thursday,
February 16, 2017.
Marilyn was born on
May 24, 1945, in Minot,
the daughter of Joseph
and Irene (Anderson)
Petz. She was raised in
Ryder, ND.
Marilyn married James
Beyer on November 20,
1965, in Douglas, ND and
they were blessed with
four children Brad, Bren-
da, Rita & Rhonda. The
couple moved to Minot in
1973. Marilyn worked for
NW Sporting Goods and
Sweetheart Bakery before
starting a career in custo-
mer service at Bremer
Bank where she worked
for over 32 years, retiring
in 2011. Jim passed away
on December 13, 2004.
Marilyn was a member
of Little Flower Catholic
Church where she was a
Eucharist Minister and
worked in the church of-
fice. Anyone that knew
Marilyn knew what a kind
and caring person she
was. She always saw the
best in everyone. The cof-
fee pot was always on &
she had something baked
in case company stopped
by to visit. A stranger may
have walked in the house
but left as a life-long
friend. Marilyn was a de-
voted mother, grandma,
sister, aunt and friend –
she always put her family
first and kept everyone in
her prayers.
Marilyn’s family would
like to thank the staff at
the Trinity Kidney Di-
alysis Unit for taking such
good care of her over the
past year and a half.
