Gaynelle Bernice
Nesheim, 93, New Town,

on the Nesheim family
farm, rural New Town.

member of the Bethlehem
Ladies Aid, the local
Homemakers club, the

enjoyed traveling, taking
many trips to different
areas of the U.S. After
Harold passed away in
2001 she continued to
travel and also enjoyed
trips to the area casinos
with friends.
Gaynelle loved to sew.
The quilts she made were
works of art. She was also
a wonderful cook and
baker. No one made bread
better than Gaynelle’s.
Her fried chicken and
creamed peas and pota-
toes were out of this
world. She also enjoyed
the time she spent with
her grandchildren and
great grandson. For as
long as she was able, she
attended their many ac-
tivities. She especially en-
joyed sharing recipes and
teaching her daughter and
granddaughters to make
bread, lefse, flat bread,
krumkake, and Grandma
Delia’s sugar cookies. She
always had time for a cup
of coffee and a visit with
family, friends, and neigh-
bors. Everyone was wel-
come in her home.
