of Maddock, ND passed

away at her home sur-

rounded by her family on

Thursday, January 19,

2017. Mass of Christian

Burial will be held at

10:00 AM Tuesday, Janu-

ary 24, 2017 at St. Willi-

ams Catholic Church in

Maddock, ND with Fr.

Brian Bachmeier celebrat-ing the mass. Visitation

will take place from

5:00-7:00 PM Monday,

January 23, 2017 at the

church with a 7:00 PM

Rosary followed by a 7:30

PM Vigil Service.  Burial

will take place at the Zion

Lutheran Cemetery in

Maddock, ND in the

spring.

Anna was born De-

cember 9, 1927 to Jacob

and Frances (Bachmeier)

Schmitt in Orrin, ND. She

was raised on the family

farm in Orrin and attend-

ed country school. Anna

married Jacob Schneider

and from this union, six

children were born:

Gloria, Betty, Anna,

James, Hilda and Nancy.

Anna married Chester

Harmon on December 22,

1967 in New Rockford

and from this union, five

children were born: Rodg-

er, Peggy, Sandra, Lori

and Lisa. The couple lived

in serval locations before

settling in Maddock.

Anna’s children,

grandchildren and

great-grandchildren were

her life. She was a very

hard worker and enjoyed

decorating her yard with

flowers and ornaments.

Trimming trees, garden-

ing, showing off her extra-

vagant Christmas display

and her little dog and

faithful companion,

Johnnie, brought her

much joy.

lando, FL.

She was preceded in

death by her parents,

(Bachmeier) Schmitt; hus-

band, Chester Harmon;

brothers, John Schmitt

and Phillip Schmitt; a sis-

ter, Florence Bachmeier;

step brother, Wendelin
