$2 million Powerball prize sold in Minot

A New Town resident purchased the winning $2 million Powerball with Power Play ticket for Saturday night’s draw and claimed the money from the Attorney General’s office in Bismarck Monday. The winner chose to remain anonymous. The lucky ticket was sold at Safari Fuels, 1500 37th Avenue SW, in Minot.

The original prize was $1 million but the winning player also purchased the Power Play option, which made the winning ticket worth $2 million. The winning numbers were 30, 34, 39, 53, 67 and the Powerball was 11. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

The Safari Fuels store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning Powerball ticket and an additional $5,000 because the ticket included the Power Play feature, for a total of $10,000.
