Steven Duchaine, Minot, charged with intent to deliver heroin and methamphetamine
Steven Charles Duchaine, 39, Minot, is charged with intent to deliver heroin and methamphetamine, both Class B felonies, in district court in Minot.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, a Ward County Narcotics Task Force Officer had contacted Madison Endresen, who had an active warrant for her arrest, as she was sitting in the passenger seat of her vehicle in a car in Jefferson Trailer Park on Wednesday.
Duchaine was loading items into the back seat of the vehicle. The officer ran a check and discovered that Duchaine had active warrants for his arrest. A search of Duchaine turned up three bags containing heroin in his clothing, a bag containing approximately nine grams of methamphetamine and a pen tube with drug residue.
A search of the car turned up a digital scale with suspected drug residue in the center console of the vehicle and a glass smoking device in the cup holder of the vehicle.
Duchaine is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, in district court.
