MHA Nation receives grant for youth program

WASHINGTON – The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation has been awarded a $249,356 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Congressman Kevin Cramer announced Monday.

The grant will fund the Making Mental Health Accessible Project to improve access to mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention accessible to Native American youth between the ages of 12 and 24 years old.
